January 2019 I joined ClubFoo Plus membership for their semiannual fee. I thought it was recurring but when I found out otherwise I chose their monthly plan until I could a credit card (I am currently paying off my debt and closed all my credit cards) so I could upgrade with an annual fee. Due to a glitch I got charged $9.99 twice in July. I submitted a ticket that got nowhere so I filed a dispute with my bank online and got the second charge reversed. I then downgraded to a free membership which was acknowledged by Foopets and I thought that would end the problem until I still got charged $9.99 in August. I sent in another ticket which was a waste of time so I made a second dispute online and got the August charge reversed. I then requested a new debt card with a new number figuring that would solve the problem. Wrong! I still got charged $9.99 in September for a free membership. I no longer get Foo Dollars each day, there is no Instacare which is a drag, and I cannot gift things to my FooFriends all of which I knew would happen. I also get offers to join ClubFoo for as little as 12 cents a day so they acknowledge in that manner that I do have a free account. So I phoned my bank and spoke to an agent who put through a stop-payment on further charges of $9.99 from Foopets. I will need to go online to file a third dispute to get back the $9.99 charged this month. On top of all that I posted requests under two listings in Forum on how to cancel my membership with Foopets. I will miss my pets, shopping, games, and other things but I have no choice. I hope I get successful replies to my postings soon so I can kiss this site goodbye. It was a very nice place to go to each day until new management took over and are seemingly totally inaccessible but I still have memberships with two other virtual pet sites to enjoy.
