Hi My name is Dee (or at least the name I go by). As you may have already noticed, I am a Christian. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior on July 8, 1995. I will tell you right now, up front, that if you judge me as a Christian, it will seem that I fail in several areas. Forgive me for those failures because, as most Christians, I am a work in progress. I have heard people say they aren’t Christians because God has to many ‘rules’. In the King James Bible, it says that the two most important rules, laws or commandments (whatever they are called) are these….To love the Lord thy God with all thy strength, all thy mind and all thy heart, with the second most important rule being to love thy neighbor as thyself. Yes the Bible has other things God wants us to do or not to do. But the way I understand it, they are to make it easier to reach the main two. When I go through the Foo Forums, I see different things mentioned. One is $@#&%?!. I mentioned this one because in my account, I have some dear Foo Friends and in my immediate family that live this lifestyle. Why, you may ask, do I as a Christian have friends that are gay or lesbian? Yes when I read the Bible and I get to those parts saying that it is wrong, I believe that it is wrong to God as it is against nature as He planned it, I have to listen to God and not condone the lifestyle. I can love the person without condoning the lifestyle. Also I am told from the Bible to not judge others. God did not put me here to be mean and judgmental. He put me here to be loving, caring and helpful. He wants me to live as He has shown me and to remember that I am the ONLY human that I am allowed to judge. I have to also remember that He is the ultimate Judge so I should not to be to judgmental on myself
Some more info about me..Oklahoma is my home state from birth. I am a grandmother of six, Jacob, Tristan, Corey, Kayla, Bryson and Conner. (they are in order of age.) Their dads are my sons, James and Billy. I love all animals but sort of timid with large animals. That may sound a little silly when you find out I am a Registered Veterinarian Technician. Due to my health, I never worked at my profession but I still keep my registration current. I don’t know why because if one of my pets get sick or hurt, I can’t remember anything I was taught. I grab the phone in a panic and call my veterinarian. (How pitiful) I will be 61 as of, March 2019. I share an apartment with a lady sightly older than me. Her best quality (besides liking me) is that she loves all animals also. I would say that her favorite is deer but then I think of the horses, elk, dogs of all sizes that she drools over, leaves me not really able to say which animal is her favorite. She has a white female Maltese/Poodle cross by the name of Dixie, a Yorkie named Sashay (Sassy) and a 14 year old Poodle/Pomeranian mix with congestive heart failure. I have my Rowdy who is a Shiatsu/Chihuahua cross who was born on March 23, 2011. I have had him since he was 18 months old.. I also have a little Chihuahua, named Gracie, she is between the ages of 6 and 8 years old. We only got LittleBit because his other family was planning to euthanize him due to no longer having time for him. They didn’t know about his heart condition so I believe God sent him to us to care for him for the rest of his life, however long that may be. When he first came to our home he attached to me but about a two months later he adopted my friend, Carolyn. But that’s okay because I have 6 cats and two more dogs. The man that gave me the oldest one was named Johnny so I named my kitty, Johnny. His named has sort of changed due to an accident. He got his tail caught under a recliner and had to have it amputated, so his name is Johnny Stubbs. LOL Johnny is a Orange Mix. Then came Jimmy, a Tuxedo Mix. Then came Casper. He is white with a black spot on his head. Next was Buddy, a gray tabby. Then I got three at once. I called them the triplets, but sadly two of them crossed the rainbow Bridge. So that left Bunny. Finally I got Mrs. Jazmine Black or Mrs. Black. She is also a white cat with a brown spot on her head. The two new dogs are Sammy (original name Killer), a Chihuahua, age unknown and Lucky, breed unknown (though we think he is a Powdered Puff Chinese Crested) born December 22, 2018. I got Lucky first. Our groomer had taken a litter of puppies whose owner’s house had burned. She was finding homes for the puppies when we took LittleBit to be groomed. She knew we were suckers for a sweet face so she brought him to the car. I fell head over heels immediately. LOL Sammy’s owner has cancer and could no longer care for him. We have friends that own an auction. Another of their friends brought him to the auction for the wife of the owner but he said no. So she brought him to the front, right where we sit. They tried to auction him, but sadly no takers. Then the lady that brought him said would anybody take him, if not he would go to the shelter the next day. We were trying to tell ourselves we would not take him. But……our friend was giving us those pleading puppy dog eyes that we couldn’t resist. We originally planned to find him a home but after we had him 24 hours we realized he is very timid but was already attaching to me. So I said he has to stay here. Now you know some about me. Hope we can still be friends!!!
