Rinny Pet Memorial
Rinny Pet Memorial is a male Yellow Lab Mix born March 4, 2010
and last adopted December 1, 2010.
He is 9 years and 8 months old.
You can add your pet to this memorial. Read further down a little for the instructions.
Rinny is named after my Rinny who went to the Rainbow Bridge on April 28, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He was fourteen and a half years old.
This Rinny is pretty good with the frisbee. The real Rinny, if I let him off the leash hed be gone, and if I throw the frisbee or ball in the house, he wouldnt bring it back, rather he would try to eat it!! He had this one toy, a pink ball with knobs on it, if I gave it to him he would growl and show his teeth and wouldnt give it back. I was able to put it away. When he was older I took it out to give him, and he did the same thing, so it got put back away. I still have it, his favorite toy. I bet Ill find out he has one up at the Rainbow Bridge, hopefully he is sharing better there!!
MOST OF YOU KNOW THAT MY NIN-NIN WENT TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ON JUNE 23, 2010, we found out that she had a tumor around her heart and was in lots of pain. She was seventeen years old.
Thanks to SistersKittens who sent me this picture. He does look a lot like Rinny. I thought this would be a great place for it.
While I am still mourning the loss of my Rinny, I thought it might be a nice thing to have a place where people can memorialize their pets, both dogs and cats. Send me a message of your pets name, date of passing, age, and a few words about him or her. I will add it to Rinnys profile. You can also include your member number, hopefully we can support each other in our loss, or share messages, stories of our pets.
Lets start with this format.
Pets Name:/ Breed:/Age:/Date of Passing On:/(Your Name):/A few words- (some are getting long, I dont know how much space this profile has, so keeping in mind that there would be room for others, try to limit your words to the most important things. ) Thanks. I know its hard to keep things short, especially when talking about our pets. But I want to have room for everyone who wants their pets listed here.

MAVERICK Yorkie 3/9/94-3/9/05 (9 yrs old ) aortic aneurysm; and yes, my beloved boy died on his birthday,:(( ( Houserules)
MISSY Calico tabby mix/1.5 years (poison) Died June 6, 1971 ( PussNBoots.) She died with my hand on her, feeling her last breaths. I still cry for her as I write this.
HARRY-DOG German Shepherd Spring 1993-July 2007, arthritis/hip displasia. Between the 2 problems at 15yrs he could no longer walk. We still miss him terribly. (DJRoecks)
GRAYMALKIN gray tabby, age unknown (he was a stray who showed up on my doorstep one cold rainy night), died in his sleep three years ago. He was the devil in feline formamong other things, he clawed my bananas, chewed up my toilet paper, and (literally) ate my homework. But he let me carry him upside down like a baby, played fetch, and would sit there and look at me with such utter adoration in his eyes that I couldnt help but forgive him for being such a stinker. :-) (Carbon 12)
BOO BOO Tuxedo cat, 4-02-86 to 12-06-03, 17 yrs old. He hung on like a a trooper but feline leukemia took over. He was a character but very loving. He used to shadow box my mom for her plate of food! From the day I got him home he would curl up under my long hair, suck his left paw ( left teeth marks too) with his other paw round my neck. (stnik)
CHARLIE Black Lab, 7-23-93 to 4-16-07, 14 yrs old. He passed from lung cancer. Talk about a smart dog. I taught him 42 different tricks and commands and he knew every one of them. Ask him to count 3 and he would bark 3 times. If I was too lazy to get something (he could hold) he would go get it for me. Saying is name in a high pitch he would look at me and give me a big smile. He rang his cow bell to tell me its potty time and so much more. Both he and B o o B o o were such good boys. They were cremated at my husbs request so I have two urns. I miss them terribly. (stnik)
SNOW White German Shepard,9/3 10/10 She was the best dog I have but I still have one left named Spots and I wish to see her in heaven really soon, she died from a car running into her. (Wolfstar)
TATTIANNA Long haired Tabby, almost 4 when he died. A darling boy, was feral when he came to us with his siblings but became a loving, wonderful companion and helped to bring nervous young cats out of their shells, many of which went on to loving homes of their own thanks to him. He suddenly became ill one weekend and despite our best efforts, died in my arms during the week, at 7 pm on 15 May 2007. (Corinelle)
BOG SOOTY A glorious black boy, both he and Tattianna were both of the breed of Moggie. (A Moggie is a stray, an indeterminate breed of cat sort of like the feline equivalent of mutt for dogs.) Another amazing cat, was renamed Ollie by his new owner. He had major problems when he was brought in, but after two weeks of operations and intensive care, and then a few months of TLC, he became a strong, gentle giant of a cat who helped to make Tattianna feel at home and I think was the one to teach him how to help younger, nervous cats! He spent a long time with me but finally went away to a loving home. I missed him of course but knew he was happy. He spent many months there, and I was lucky because I heard about him and got photos all the time. Then in November 2007 his lungs gave up on him and Ollie died, leaving myself and his owner devastated. (Corinelle)
SADIE April 6, 2010. She was the best dog I ever had. She did have something wrong with her head, and I miss her very much. Bye, Sadie! (-Sunpelt-)
PUMPKIN Hamster, died November 11, 2009, he lived about a year and a half. the good thing about him was he never bit anyone, he was a cute plump happy hamstre untill the night he got sick.(makingapinkpie)
?TRINA?, and her sister ?TRISHATOO? ~ inseparable sisters, both lost to cancer within a year of each other. TRINA, short for Katrina, a lovable ragamuffin who loved and purred for absolutely everyone, at all times. She inspired dozens of nicknames, from Twinkle to Teenyweenybeaniedeaniefleeney (my husbands nickname for her), she was a purrfect longhair tuxedo with the longest, wavy whiskers youve even seen, with big beautiful golden eyes cresting above all of those whiskers. TRISHA, who was also dubbed TrishaToo because they were always together ~ on furniture, in baskets, in windows, in boxes, in their various beds, an inseparable pair ~ was a short-hair black cat that was not the social butterfly her sister was. She was a one~person cat, completely devoted to me. When she wasnt shadowing her sis, she was curling up with me, in my arms on the desk at the computer keyboard, on my lap while reading or watching tv. We had them from birth, as their mother, a stray, had her kittens on our patio, but for some reason we never discovered, Trisha could never speak, a glottal stop her only means of communication ~ kkh kkh! But communicate she did, because she was the brains, where her sister was the beauty Trisha was the deep one, and Trina the dumb little sweetie. Trisha was so completely devoted to the two people she loved, and Trina loved everyone equally . . . Together, and they always were, they were the ?purrfect cat?. Both gone several years now, I am sure they were there to greet my truly better half when he also had to go, they live always in my heart! (CelestialCat)

Yyou can read Fallons whole story on my profile and i have a cat named Fallon (as a foopet) on my profile with pictures of her. (falcon-kitty rescue) /member/21339305

KYLE the FIRST Passed away Oct. 26, 2004 of a liver infection when she was 10 years old. She is still missed very much. angelsinstead. Submitted by Aly-Aly.
ROSA A beautiful Sheltie. She was born May 23, 1995. Our Rosa left us last Tuesday night, Feb. 1, 2011 peacefully, at home. I was talking to her and stroking her. We just never dreamed her life would slip away so quickly. She had been ill since Christmas, with what turned out to be kidney failure. We tried everything, Sharon! She would have been 16 in May. Always loved the snow made her forget about her age! Oh, how crushed we are. I was alright in the beginning, after all, I had to do all the hard work of putting her to rest in the garden. But lately it has been getting worse and worse for me. The worst is going up to bed at night, as every night since she was two, she slept on the bed, taking up the bottom half of my side. I still make room for her. BarbaraJ
GALILEO "His name was Galileo, a black rescue cat with a sprinkling of white on his belly. It looked like he had stars on him, hence the name Galileo. He was 9 years old when I needed to put him to sleep in July. Hed been sick since around March but had pneumonia for the last 2 months. He was finally getting better when he had a stroke in front of me. My baby was born 10-10-2001 and his death was 7-9-2010. It still hurts like crazy when I think of him. " BlueOctoberFan
BARNEY Breed: tuxedo cat Age: 17 Died on Nov. 12, 2010. Barney was the type of cat who never didnt want to be with you. When i was little he let me hold him upside down because i thought it was funny. He learned tricks like to come when i snapped my fingers or patted my bed. I could never sleep without him. If he was outside at night, i wouldnt be able to sleep and i would go open the front door and call him. He would come running to me. Then 17 years after my mom got him, he was the runt of the litter, left out at feeding time, never given a bath by his mother, he was yellow when my mom got him. But after his first bath he was white and black and beautiful, he died of a heart problem. I love you Bean! ( thats what i call him! ) Kaseylu
LUCY (in GrandmaCatLadys profile picture) (8/28/00-9/12/11) Lucy, a Lilac Point Birman, was probably the feistiest kitty GPCL and I ever had. She explored places in our house where no cat ever went before. Well never forget her. GrandmaCatLady

DUSTY – Died Saturday March 3 after fighting cancer since Nov. 19, which was also his 14th birthday. He was born in 1998 I was his third owner. His first owner abused him, his second kept him as an outside dog chained to a tree most of the time. He was then eventually left as his family moved away and didn’t want him any more. I agreed to find him a home, and he ended up with me.
I miss him more than words can express. Mamacat11
BARTY: On November 17, 2012, my Barty, age 19 passed away from advanced Kidney Failure. I had him since he was a kitten. He was rescued from a lady who had several litters of kittens she was taking care of in the woods behind her apartment. He was one of the the most special cats I have ever had. He used to sleep either on his pillow next to me or on my chest, and every morning he would put his paw on my cheek and tap it to wake me up, and if that didn’t work, he would, just a little, extend his claws, but not dig in. That would work. I always said he “was my boss.” I miss him very much, especially at night when he isn’t there next to me on his pillow. His picture is my profile cat.
