Thank you Kuna dear, finally have a good pup to breed Kala with! :D
I am actually going to be breeding him with Cupcake.
Chico is an old chihuahua of ours, who was white and brown. He has a sad background, one that still breaks my heart. I went to stay the night at my Aunt and Uncle’s, and noticed a small chihuahua in their backyard. He was so skinny, his tail had been broken near the tip. He was fighting for food against a much larger breed of dog, an American Pit Bull Terrier/mutt mix. Now Chico is the brother of Beethoven, our black chihuahua who we had since he was a pup. I called my mother up literally sobbing, begging her to allow us to take Chico home. It took a while, because I was known to wanna take in every little thing I could, but I was able to convince her to let me bring him home.
When she saw him the next day she cried too, it was just so sad. Beetho, or Bato (as we called him), and Chico got along super well, I can’t recall any aggression or malicious acts. They pretty instantly bonded together, Bato was the grouchy one of the two, and Chico was the absolute most friendly dog ever, though he was a bit skittish when it came to certain things, like the word no. He would cower, and not like a typical dog cower, he cowered completely submissive mouth peeled back, ears pinned, and fear in his eyes.
We had Chico for so many years, however in the end he disappeared into the night, a few months later my mother found him in a car at our local grocery store, she waited for the owner of the car to come to their car to talk. My mom expressed how much we wanted him back, how much he meant for us, how much Beethoven was grieving for his little buddy. They were getting older in their years, around 8 or 9, the family had grown attached to him as well, having found him on the side of the highway that is kind of close to our property. Sadly….though we gave them our contact information, they never called us. The years rolled on, and Beethoven passed, and I am sure Chico followed shorty after, if not before.
