Gecko -3 is a female Red Husky born March 10, 2017
and last adopted August 17, 2017.
She is 2 years and 10 months old.
You’re never leaving again, I promise ♥
This girl has been on quite a journey, actually. I fell in love with her when my friend Layla first found her on the play page. She put Gecko up for offers and although I offered what I could, I just didn’t have enough to bring her home.
Instead, a different member got her. Now this member is a good home so I wasn’t worried about her, but I still loved her and visited (or stalked..?) this pup a lot. I really wanted to bring her home, but I didn’t have a good offer and besides, she wasn’t for sale.
That member had her for a good long while, until one day I saw a thread of him downsizing, and Gecko was there for 1.2k, and my heart leaped in my chest. Luckily I had just sold a bunch of pups from my litters, and I had just enough, and I adopted her without a second thought. Finally my girl was home! After months and months of waiting, she was here!
A couple weeks after I brought her home, I was having some financial troubles. A certain member screwed me over and I didn’t have to funds to pick up one of my dream pets that I’d said I would have the money for. I was forced to put up some pets for sale, and sadly there were only a few who I had not promised forever homes to.
Gecko was one of them.
I put her up for 1.5k, hoping to god that whoever took her in would love her as much as I did. A few hours went by and that same member who sold her messages me, asking if he could have her back for the 1.2k that he had sold her for. Honestly I was kinda scared that’d he’d get mad at me for posting her for 300 more, so I sold her back, and Gecko was gone just as faster than I ever wanted her to be.
Not two days later, this little pup was on public sale again. For 1.5k. At this point I knew I had to get her back so I could give her a place in my home forever. I commented, asking for her back for the 1.2k he paid not 48 hours ago. He replied saying he really needed money for one of his dreams so he was hoping to get a bit more.
I picked up Gecko off public sale right then, and that was that. I wasn’t having her go from home to home anymore. She deserved so much better than that.
So here she is, safe and sound. My sweet Gecko is finally home again, and she is never leaving. Not for anything.
