so i’m moving to college

Medium

I move out on Wednesday and I’ve been crazy busy, so I’m sorry about not checking in )):

But how is everyone??

What are you going to study?
College was fun, but so hard at the same time. I wish you great luck and I hope that you’re able to achieve your dream job! :D

On other notes, I’ve been busy with life. But at the same time, keeping my spirits here on Foopets every day… Somehow haha.

I’m going for Chemistry, and thank you so much!!

That’s more than I can say, I just come on to feed my pets now lmao. I’m glad you’ve been well though!!

Chemistry?! Woah that’s so cool! I literally failed intro to chem and was never able to pass it, even with tutoring. You must be super smart :O

Medium

Haha, thank you. I found it easy in school and did well on the entersnce exam plus it pays well, so I thought I’d go into it. (:

We just moved in today, and it’s constant activities for the rest of the day. Really hectic lol

Good luck, I just finished my degree in Zoology a few months ago. The time really flies by, and as cliche as it sounds they probably will be some of the best years of your life, so enjoy it.

Medium

Good luck!!! I’m applying for online college soon and I’m going for criminology. :)

Medium

good luck!!!! college was the time of my life – i always wish i could go back and relive it but time is fleeting. enjoy every second!! make sure to never compromise on your happiness & safety.

ALSO don’t get discouraged if you don’t do as well as you hope in chemistry!! i’m confident in your abilities but many colleges use the intro chemistry courses as “weed out” classes – they’re incredibly hard and have the goal of “weeding out” students who are weaker and less motivated (in hopes that they drop out of harder majors/tracks, etc.). push through and don’t let any grades stop you!!!

I’m so excited for you! You will love it, so much better than high school 💜

Moving to campus (I’m assuming you’re living on campus, most colleges have policies for Freshmen to live on campus for a year) can be nerve-wracking but exciting! ♥ I hope you have a wonderful first term!

I move back to campus on the 22nd of September for Fall Term (this will be my second year). I’m an Early Childhood / Elementary Education major!

I absolutely prefer college over high school! I hope you feel the same way and have a wonderful first year of studying! ♥ Try new things, make new friends and keep yourself healthy and happy!

Thank you! I’m nervous for everything to start, and it’s only the second day of orientation. Classes start on Tuesday so hopefully stuff calms down by then.

That’s so cool! It sounds like a really interesting subject and I hope you get in 

Kelly

Thank you so much for the advice!! I’m hoping I do well in those classes, but I should really brush up on my knowledge before classes start. I’ll definitely try my hardest!!

Elle

Thank you so much  I actually really liked high school so I’d love if I loved college more!

I am living on campus! It’s pretty nerve-wracking right now, but I think it’s moreso jitters for starting classes and constant activities in the orientation.

How do you like that major?? And I hope that I feel as positive about college as you do! Thank you so much for the advice!

of course :) please reach out if you ever need help with anything!!

Orientation activities will be cheesy and some will feel unnecessary but some are useful, and (for the most part) the constant activities help focus your attention onto adjusting to campus life and give you less time to focus on nerves or homesickness (at least in my experience). I seriously hope you have a wonderful first term and year!

I am loving my major so far! ♥ I’m looking forward to taking more classes in field of study and working towards my licensing exam!

Remember to take care of yourself and enjoy your time in college! Get out of your comfort zone a few times (safely, nothing too crazy).
